Online Marketing Campaign

The Challenge:

Handyman Connection was looking to attract more medium- to large-sized residential renovation projects to increase revenue and create a steady line-up of work year-round.

The 6P Solution:

6P put together an 11-month online marketing campaign, starting with Google Search and Google Display ads that targeted Winnipeg-area homeowners. Campaign visuals carefully followed established brand standards, with 6P copy promoting the company’s wide range of services, namely carpentry and drywall, renovations, painting, electrical, and plumbing. Copy was refreshed midway through to keep things fresh and seasonally appropriate.

The Outcome:

6P’s online ads were hugely effective. In just under six months, the client’s website recorded 792 estimate forms filled and 591 clicks on the Handyman Connection phone number. Forty-eight phone calls were made directly from special interactive Google Search ads.

Web traffic to the Handyman Connection website shot up 383 percent compared to the same period the year before, with 49 percent of nearly 20,000 unique users coming directly from 6P’s online ads. Organic traffic also increased by 195 percent. Users arriving on the website were engaged, staying an average of two minutes — an increase of 32 seconds from before our campaign.
