Réseau Compassion Network:

The Challenge:
Catholic Health Corporation of Manitoba (CHCM) sought a rebrand to increase public exposure and redefine its identity, blending its heritage with future goals. The project required developing a new name, messaging, and positioning that honored the legacy of the Grey Nuns while focusing on community needs. Additionally, CHCM wanted to retain Catholic values without being overtly religious. The challenge was clear: create a brand that resonated with both internal and external audiences while aligning with the organization’s mission and vision.

The 6P Solution:
After extensive research and collaboration with stakeholders, 6P helped develop a new bilingual name, Réseau Compassion Network (RCN), reflecting the organization’s identity and community perception. The new positioning highlighted RCN’s program-oriented approach and commitment to addressing unmet needs, in line with the Grey Nuns’ original mission. The messaging subtly conveyed Catholic values while focusing on inclusivity. A modern website was created alongside updated communication materials, with the first phase of the campaign targeting internal communication and engaging 13 network members and 8,000 staff. The social media strategy also aimed to increase community engagement.
The Outcome:
The rebranding was well-received, with network CEOs and staff embracing the new name and focus. The client praised 6P for exceeding expectations. A corporate video was completed, and RCN has now engaged 6P to create smaller video segments for future campaigns. The successful transition from CHCM to RCN has strengthened the organization’s community presence and positioned it for continued growth.
