Leveraging design standards laid out in our rebrand work the previous year, our team created a sleek, modern website that fits the innovative nature of Verve’s business. The sharp angles that define the logo and image treatments highlight a client that goes against the grain, while the green of the hemp plant stays prominent in design and imagery to keep Verve’s identity as an ag-centred brand in focus.
Arriving on the homepage, 6P’s web copy first emphasizes Verve’s excellence in seed genetics with the headline, “Hemp Designed To Succeed,” addressing concerns about hemp’s viability before summarizing Verve’s high standards below. 6P’s web copy then immediately offers three succinct points on why hemp is right for growers and three more on why they should buy from Verve. Other sections on the website offer practical advice and technical details on buying and growing hemp, with copy split into digestible chunks detailed enough to provide value for those interested and brief enough to keep engagement high.
With Verve’s huge catalogue of region-specific varieties and an audience of growers across North America, it was critical to direct each customer to the right product. Once individual product pages were created for each variety, our web and creative teams developed a fantastic colour-coded map tool that recommends ideal varieties to visitors based on region, presenting a pop-up list when the user clicks. Integrated with each product page, the tool allows the user click to immediately learn more and fill out an inquiry form if desired.
