Why should I pay for a retainer? Can I get only the dashboard without the retainer/ongoing service?

Even when you own the dashboard technology, you’d still have to solve two big problems:

  1. Dashboards don’t generate insights – people do. You still need a smart, capable business analyst to perform the analysis and generate insight.
  2. Dashboards don’t solve problems. They make recommendations, but don’t take action. If your dashboards help you identify an opportunity to modify any of the ongoing initiatives you track, you’d have to use a different tool to take action to change the trajectory (such as a specific recruitment program, sales promotion or email marketing platform).

Although our technology is not proprietary, it’s quite close to that. Once set, it’s not easy to transfer the dashboard, there are many connectors as well as costs covered by 6P Marketing. We charge transfer fees when required.

6P will monitor your data. Your data belongs to you and 6P does not store your data. We need to access it in order to provide you with our service.

  • Your use of the dashboard and our service is subject to the terms and conditions from our third party integration partners. Some of these third party data source integration providers have terms and conditions particular to their data sources and, by making use of the data source integrations offered by 6P, you acknowledge and agree that your use of the dashboard may be subject to terms and conditions of those third party providers (for example, when we connect our Dashboard to any Google data services provided to you, you agree to the terms of service and conditions in the Terms of Service and the Google APIs Terms of Service).
  • 6P will take appropriate steps, both before and while using the Dashboards, to copy or backup and protect Your Data in case it is lost, altered or destroyed by using the Service. 6P will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for any of types of losses or damages in the event of a hardware, software, or Service failure.
  • Your Data belongs to you. You grant 6P a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide sublicensable right and license to access and use Your Data in order to provide the dashboard as contemplated by these Terms, as well as to send you customized recommendations and insights based on Your Data.
  • From our Customers, we only collect Customer Information that is necessary to establish and maintain the provision of the dashboard to them (i.e. customer name, contact information, billing address, login information for third party integrations to 6P, etc.).
  • Unless a Customer is using a Custom Data Store and therefore storing their Processed Data on their site, 6P uses Google Data Studio to store and manage Customer Information and Processed Data. As indicated in the following section, 6P uses service providers outside of Canada to store and manage certain data and analytics associated with use of the Service. We take precautions to ensure your data is stored carefully. Our intention is not to store sensitive customer specific data on the dashboard; only topline metrics and summary data.
